- Q: How do I install the dll-file?
A: We recommend you to read the tutorial: Using ExpressZip when installing dll-files. Followed is a quick help.
You need an unzip software in order to extract the dll-file from the zip-file you've downloaded. We recommend our users to use ExpressZIP.
Then use ExpressZIP to select the dll-file and extract it to your system directory. By default, this is C:WindowsSystem (Windows 95/98/Me), C:WINNTSystem32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:WindowsSystem32 (Windows XP).
You may also put it in the directory of the program, that is asking for the file.
If putting it in the system directory isn't enough, you may need to use regsvr32 by the following way:
1. Press Start and select Run
2. Type CMD and press Enter
3. Type regsvr32 "filename".dll and press Enter

- Q: I'm not able to download any dll-files / I get a "Invalid referer. You are not allowed to access this file (******) the way you are trying to.", when I try to download the files.
A:
- You need to left-click to download the files. It does not work right-clicking and use "Save Target As".
- Make sure you access the file from www.dll-files.com
- Make sure you disable any Download Accelerators such as "Download accelerator", "Getright" and "Gozilla" you may be using.
- Make sure you have Javascript enabled.
- Make sure you disable any REFERER-blocker such as AdSubstract.
- Disable security programs such as "Norton Internet security" and "ZoneAlarm". (Not recommended, but could sometimes be the solution)

A: Send an e-mail to help@healthycomputerclub.com.
- Q: When I open the Zip-file I only see a readme.txt file. Where is the dll-file?
A: You need to be able to view hidden files. Follow the instructions:
- Open Windows Explorer (not IE) - usually it is c:windowsexplorer.exe.
- Choose "View"
- Choose "Folder Options"
- Choose "View"
- Choose "Show all files" in "Hidden files".
- Q: I'm unable to open the Zip-files, since they are asking for a password to unzip the file.
A: Our files are not password protected. You probably just need to upgrade your current unzip software to the latest version.
- Q: What does dll mean?
A: Dynamic Link Library.
- Q: Why do my dll-files suddenly disappear?
A: Dll-files are usually used by a lot of different programs. Then when you remove the program using an uninstall utility, it removes all files it installed during the installation progress and also the dll-files used by the program that are also used by other programs.
- Q: I'm looking for a dll-file that I can't find anywhere. What do I do?
A: Go to Suggest-a-file and write the name of the dll file that you need. If several people request the same file we will post it.
